Godot is a comfortable and generous sofa series consisting of 2- and 3-person sofas and an easy chair.
The inner space of the sofa is dimensioned and shaped for the unrestricted seating posture not limiting the possibility to move, to stretch and so on…
Soft and inviting shapes of the upholstered inside of sofa are contrasting to the straight, geometrically simple outside shape – the inner belongs to the person, the outer belongs to the room.
Vertical, rectangular outside surfaces allow an easy and natural positioning of sofas along and close to the walls, side by side and back to back, which makes Godot being usable in both residential and public environments.
Godo series are constructed and produced for long lasting life. High quality foam “sandwich” on the frame with elastic bands and high quality textile provide the form stability for many years of use.
“Waiting for Godot” is an absurdist play by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, wait endlessly and in vain for the arrival of someone named Godot.
Samuel Beckett’s personages had to wait for a long, very long time – so we have designed for them a nice way to wait – now they can wait to eternity in the comfortable Godot sofa.
